Courtyard Green Space for Drainage and Balance
This courtyard needed to feel softer, more inviting, and better equipped to handle water after rain.
The goal was to introduce a green space that improved drainage while adding warmth and life to an otherwise hard, enclosed area. We reshaped the courtyard to allow water to move properly, then added lawn and planting to create a more comfortable, natural feel.
To break up the tall white walls, we installed espaliers that add structure, texture, and visual interest without overwhelming the space. The greenery softens the courtyard while maintaining a clean, refined look.
The result is a brighter, more balanced courtyard that drains well, feels calmer, and connects naturally with its surroundings.
